Private Classes

All private classes are scheduled by appointment at the convenience of the student and instructor.  In some cases, it may be necessary to give the class on two half days to accomodate schedules. I will work with you so if you got this far, just keep going!

Group Classes

Group Classes are offered at specific times.  See schedule on Classes and Workshops page.  Class numbers are still limited to no more than 4 to allow for a life changing and  intimate experience.  This class does not give the student a private Reiki session in Reiki I.  In Reiki II, the private Reiki session is done by another student.

Reiki I

In this class, the beginning student learns to bring the Universal Life Energy into the body and use it on oneself.

The class is one full day of highly interactive activity, instruction, attunements and ends with an individual Reiki session.  A small amount of homework is given.

Topics covered include:

The Reiki hand positions

Giving a complete Reiki treatment for self and others

Japanese Reiki Techniques, as taught by Dr. Usui including:

Gassho meditation

Reiji-ho - developing your intuition

Byosen Scanning - detecting where Reiki is needed

$150 per person

Reiki II

In this one day class, the student learns techniques to work on another being. This class is one day of activity, lecture, attunements and ends with instruction on how to give a Reiki session as well as receiving an individual Reiki session.

Topics include sending Reiki with the eyes and breath, body scanning, dowsing with fingers, long distance and group healings, creating a Reiki healing box.

To be certified to work on others professionally, the student is asked to do 5 case study practice sessions and meet back with the teacher to discuss. There is a small amount of homework given.

$250 per person

Reiki Master

This is  a two day class that prepares the student for teaching Reiki as well as certifying students to practice Reiki.  This class includes activity, lecture, attunements, an individual Reiki session, giving one session, written homework as well as 3 additional case studies.

$450 per person

One of the first things I tell a student who wants to take a Reiki class is that they are asking for "life change". 

Then I look them in the eye to make sure they understand what that means.  Once I am certain they understand that principle, I proceed.  Reiki is Universal Life Energy.  Reiki is a method of bringing that Universal Life Energy into and through the body. With that energy comes Light. Light in the body, energy in the body ~each changes the energy already existing in all of one's bodies - mental, physical, emotional and spiritual.  Therefore change is inevitable. When energy changes in any given situation, it sets off a chain reaction in all facets of life, relationships, self esteem, serenity, joy and much, much, more.  A little at a time, the NEW bodies want peace and an energy more akin to the Universal Life Energy and its source.  A little at a time, the several bodies shed old worn out beliefs, habits, physical issues that no longer serve the growth and direction of the soul in this incarnation.  Like layers of the onion skin, one at a time, things drop by the wayside that no longer serve your highest good. 

Those who are looking for "life change" find that Reiki is a foundational place to begin, to set the wheels in perpetual motion, forever serving the soul's intention and highest good.
